Birdman Explains Why Tha Carter IV Leaked

Here's how Baby is calling it according to RollingStone:

Cash Money delivered Carter IV to Universal about 10 days in advance, which Williams says was necessary to press the two million units being shipped in its first week. "The goal is to sell a million-plus copies," he explains. Although that's likely what led to Carter IVbreaking free, Williams says he's actually OK with leaks, to a point. "I can deal with it for short period of time," he says. It's when you have a leak out for a long time that it's crazy.

Or you can just admit you're not on The Throne's level. Whatever they did, you didn't. You didn't have the funds to have printing factories print last minute through the weekend down to the wire like Mr. West and Mr. Carter did. Don't get me wrong guys, I don't mind YMCMB at all but they claim to be on a level they're not on. C'mon, you know your album wasn't gonna be leak proof. Be realistic, all those drugs clouds your judgement sometimes. You act like you're okay with leaks because you know you don't have the power to stop them. No one with a tattoo on their head does. Why're you even explaining anyway? Don't you have a few lawsuits to deal with in terms of stolen beats and royalties you haven't paid?

The Throne will be Seen at the VMA's Tomorrow Night

*Plays Otis* Now THIS is what I'm talking about. Yes children, Jay-Z and Kanye West are slated to perform at the VMAs tomorrow night on MTV, MTV2 and whatever other channels MTV has nowadays. Get hype, as I'm sure this will be something to see. Ye and Jay think too much of themselves to fuck this shit up in a negative way.

In my own opinion, I don't expect to see Lift Off because even though I did post it as the new single and Beyonce IS going to be there, It was scrapped and replaced with 'Ni**as in Paris' and 'Why I Love You'. In a perfect world, I'd like to see a mixture of tracks the two have done together (Diamonds Remix anyone?) then lead into 'Otis' and 'Ni**as In Paris' but I doubt that. Regardless, It'll be crazy, so tune in and catch me in the Cbox as well as Twitter if you wanna discuss the show tomorrow night at 9 PM. Drake Speaks on Lil Wayne's 'I'm Good'

The Hell is up y'all!? So it goes like this... if you haven't noticed already, there's certainly been some talk regarding track 14 on Tha Carter IV. Wayne isn't used to being inferior so he sure did write a line or two directed at Jay for his "Baby Money" line off of H.A.M, which you can hear by downloading that illegally somewhere. This is funny though, for Drake to be all "YMCMB" 24/7 and all that "I Love my team, I'll die for them niggas" but when Wayne starts firing off shots, rap is an "individual art" eh? Then the reporter asks about the joint album with Wayne and Drake doesn't wanna sound like a hypocrite so he says he's focusing on his own album. He's gotta get the entire fuck outta here with the fakeness. Ride or Die Drake, Ride or Die.

Lil Wayne Speaks On "It's Good" Verse

Tunechi addresses what certainly appeared to be a jab thrown Jay-Z's way. VIBE with the story:

“I know there won’t be any repercussions behind what I did,” says a confident Wayne when asked if he had second thoughts about recording his acidic verse for ‘It's Good.’ “I know for a fact music is about perception. You can’t do anything but perceive what you hear. I know that for a fact. So I can’t ever be upset about someone’s reaction.”

Wayne added that while he understands the intrigue and buzz behind the record, it’s just another song. “I’m not going to say I don’t know what would happen before I even say [something on record],” he explains. “I do know what will happen. I’m aware of it. But it is what it is.”
